Résumé

The following biophysical operational principles are recommended by The independent Scientific Steering Committee (SSC) to guide the establishment of a new network of no-take areas that could achieve the objectives of RAP. These principles will guide reserve design processes in RAP. The SSC recognises that other processes in RAP will address the cultural, social and economic dimensions of the program and that these may influence the degree to which the GBRMPA is able to achieve, in full, its recommendations.
